AOL Radio is a great app for listening to more conventional radio programming. More free radio than your actual radio could ever provide. There is nothing like old-fashioned programmed stations. AOL Radio is powered by CBS Radio featuring more than 200 stations with 25 genres of music, including talk radio stations from New York, L.A., Atlanta and others.

Dragon Dictation This cool application is fairly accurate dictation software that usually costs several dollars from other companies (Mac talk to text). Dragon Dictation brings one of the best speech recognition engines to your phone. You can update you Facebook page, create notes or to-do lists for yourself and even post tweets by linking to your Twitter apps just by speaking. It’s great for text messaging when you can’t type. Mint for Personal Finance app has over 16,000 ratings at 4.5 starts. Mint.com Personal Finance helps you track your account balances automatically by syncing with your back account(s). You can also create a monthly budget (income vs. expenses) and track your spending habits easily. This includes your investments like 401K and IRAs, etc. Awesome! 

Lose It! Take control of your weight loss and fitness goals. This free fitness app tracks your workouts, caloric intake and helps you maintain a daily record. Track your fiber, protein & carbs too. One of the best weight loss app friends you can have on your Apple. Speaking of apple, you know what they say, “an apple a day…..”

 iHeart Radio - streaming broad-casts from about 400  American local radio stations accross the country. This iPad app allows you to bookmark the favorite radio stations and mark songs for purchase at iTunes.
