Top 10 Free iPad Apps

Fellow blogger Chris Null tech noted earlier this week; many applications are coming iPad promises to be much more expensive than their counterparts iPhone. But a quick glance at the App Store just unveiled iPad proves that there is still a lot of pushing to have freebies. Top 10 free ipad apps I’m most looking forward to install.

Netflix: Yes, it’s official – The catalog of streaming Netflix movies and TV shows is indeed coming from IPAD, and is a free service for subscribers of Netflix. No word on a version for the iPhone (or at least not yet).

ABC Player: free, ad-supported shows ABC via Wi-Fi, from “Lost” and “Grey’s Anatomy” to “Dancing with the Stars” and “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”.

Tweetdeck for iPad: This version of jumbo firms Tweetdeck iPhone application is perfect for scanning the column after column of life, custom searches Twitter, tweets with your friends and your favorite Twitter last “words”.

Aurora Feint 3: An addictive puzzle game with a medieval RPG twist, the original Aurora Feint is one of my favorite time wasters iPhone, and I can not wait to try its free counterpart IPAD.

NPR for iPad: Track your favorite shows on National Public Radio in this free “magazine style” iPad app with support for reading and one drive offline for text stories.

The Weather Channel Max: full screen, “moving” on weather maps, breaking video news reports, weather cameras nationwide, and (of course) the local weather forecast.

Tap Tap Light: From the creators of the bestselling “Tap Tap Revenge for iPhone is the new rhythm game iPad companies who” takes users on a visual tour along the beats of each track. ” The first eight songs (from the likes of Serge Devant, Richard Vission, and Mos Def) are included; for more, however, be prepared to pay.

AIM iPad: Now with a bigger, three-column view, with your AIM conversations active in a column, your current conversation in the middle, and your AIM buddy list on the right.

Dragon Dictation: Can not be bothered to type messages? Simply launch Dragon dictation, press the red button and speak, you can e-mail your thoughts via a pop-up or shipping already dictated notes in the left column.

BBC News: News breaking the Beeb, with photo galleries tappable, full screen video streaming, and – best of all – no pay wall.
